The program can be completed part-time within 2 years by dedicating 15 hours a week towards completing an associate’s degree plus customized technology electives. EEP will provide Corporate Mentors and Career Hacking “Villages” to create a learning environment that keeps you motivated and on track towards successful completion of the program. EEP is a non-profit, educational support organization with a mission of providing accredited degrees and technical skills, free of cost. ALL accepted applicants receive one year of free accredited university education and various technical courses. We enable this through grants and fundraising. What does it cost me if I don't complete my degree within one year? Starting year two, students can expect to pay a VERY LOW $1,250 every 6 months for unlimited courses from the accredited university degree portion. Each competency-based, project-focused course is taken one at a time. Students can qualify for grants, scholarships or loans if they are unable to pay tuition in years two and beyond. The Technology Skills and Mentoring portion of the program are still free to accepted students in year two. Total cost of the program depends on your goals and how long you take to complete classes. So, how long does it take to finish my degree? Remember, that the courses are self-paced so the more time you put in, the more courses you can complete each payment period. We estimate it will take you about 2 years to complete an Associate Degree with a minimum 10 hours of study a week. If you double that to 20 hours per week, then it could take you about one year. We'll discuss your goals regarding degree completion and building technology skills. THAT SAID, YOU SHOULD EXPECT 20 HOURS PER WEEK MINIMUM IF YOU WANT TO ALLOW TIME FOR THE TECH WORKSHOPS. They are fully accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges - certified by the U.S. Department of Education.
